Although the book was created with
Scottish schools in mind we think it is an ideal resource for
any primary school concerned with the teaching of design &
technology. The first section deals with tools and materials,
and illustrates various approaches to building common components,
eg. frames, cranks and wheels. The major part outlines possible
solutions to a wide range of simple design projects all of which
are listed below.
